The definition

A depth chart is a team's ordered list of who plays each position: the starter first, then the backups in the order they would come in.

In HoopSim the depth chart has 12 slots. Slots 1 to 5 are the starters, each locked to a position (point guard through center), and whoever you put there plays that position. Slots 6 to 12 are the bench; each bench player's position pills show which spots they can cover, and when a starter needs a rest the sim sends in the freshest, best available player who can play the open spot. You give every slot minutes from a 240-minute budget, with no player over 48. Injured players' slots are held for them, a player set to 0 minutes is a DNP, and AI Suggest builds a full chart for you from your scouts' view. You can also set a chart for one specific game.
