Analytics & ads cookies
HoopSim asks before it uses any analytics or advertising cookies. Until you tap Accept on the banner, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode: it sets no cookies and sends only anonymous page counts that can't be tied to you, and no Meta or Reddit code loads at all.
If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies to see which pages and features people use and where the game loses them, and the Meta Pixel and Reddit Pixel measure whether our ads on Facebook, Instagram and Reddit bring people in (sign-ups, free trials and purchases). We never send your name, username or email address in plain text: your account is identified by a one-way scrambled code (a SHA-256 hash), and that is all Google, Meta and Reddit see.
There are no ads inside the game, and nothing about how you play is sold.
Cookies we always set
A few first-party cookies keep the game working (your sign-in, your security token, your settings). Two more, hs_ft and hs_lt, remember the link that first brought you here (for example a campaign name), so we know which ads and posts are worth it. They stay on hoopsim.app and are never shared.
