Messenger
Messenger holds League chat (everyone), private DMs with other GMs and AI GMs, and team walls, where anyone can post on a team's page and the owner is notified. Players, agents, reporters, The Show, Mo and Uncle Denny write to you there too, each with its own tag. You can reply to a League chat message, build and send trade offers right inside a DM, and share clips with a line of trash talk. Long-press a chat message (right-click on a computer) for its menu: the team's roster and cap, Reply, Message this GM, Copy, Report and more.
Viewed by sits in the same menu on League chat messages and Wire stories: it lists which human GMs have seen it. A message counts as seen once the chat was on someone's screen after it was posted; a story, once they opened it. Your private DMs never leak to the media.
Commissioner posts and polls
The commissioner can post a message or a poll (pick one, yes or no, or write-in) that pops up full screen for every GM on their next open and stays until you tap I've read it (voting counts too). It's pinned at the top of League chat with its own comments. You get one vote, can't change it and can't vote for your own team. Public polls show live totals and who voted for what; silent ones show the league only the totals, when the poll closes. A poll closes at its deadline, when every GM has voted, or when the commissioner closes it.
The commissioner can also push any League News story to everyone as a full-screen article, sometimes with a phone push.
Notifications and your inbox
Push notifications come in groups (Your turn, Game results, League news, Messages, Commissioner) that you switch on or off one by one under Push notifications & quiet hours on your Account page. Urgent ones (on the clock, trade and free-agent offers, ready reminders, DMs and mentions) go out right away; the rest are bundled so one sim means one push. Quiet hours are on by default overnight: anything held arrives together in the morning, and only an on-the-clock draft alert breaks through. Busy League chat sends at most one alert every ten minutes, and AI GM chatter never buzzes you.
The badge on Start counts your unread Team Inbox: trades, roster moves, contracts, scouting and league notes, each with a button to act on it. A strip above the bottom bar carries urgent alerts. Dots on Depth Chart and Game Plan only appear when something needs you: red when the next sim would stop on your roster or a starting slot is empty, orange when it will play but not as you set it (a hurt starter, a thin rotation, no game plan).
Splashes
A full-screen splash plays right after your own big moment: a trade done, a signing, a draft pick, a cut, a hire, an award. Tap to close. A few league moments play once for every other GM on their next visit within two days: a new GM's welcome, a batch of awards (one for all of Awards Night) and a blockbuster trade between human GMs. You never get your own moment as a league splash, and solo leagues have none.
Media and the Wire
The Media feed is the league's timeline: a fictional cast posts about trades, signings, waivers, firings, injuries, big games, rumours and what GMs say in League chat, and you can like, reply or quote-post. The Wire is the league's news desk: stories, award roll calls and the commissioner's pushed articles. After each sim, League chat gets one Sim complete card for the run, and a batch of stories gets one Newsroom card.
Any GM can sit down with a columnist: tap New article, pick a writer and plan the piece together in a DM; only what you say on the record is quoted. Long pieces are limited to one a week. Reporters may also DM you for a quote for their own story, and the State of the Game column covers how the engine is playing across every league.
The Show
The Show is a cast of parody media personalities (plus a few originals). After a real moment for your team, a host may DM you for a quote. Answer on the record and they post your exact words; off the record and it runs as "a source close to the team". "No comment" is fine; it just earns nothing. Asks close after two days.
Answers are graded for detail: Short, Solid or Front page, and more detail pays more PP. A better follow-up soon after a short answer upgrades it. Repeats, copy-paste, gibberish and off-topic answers pay nothing. There's a weekly PP cap, a limit on asks per week, and you can call in to the show once a week. The engine-minded voices may ask how your setup squares with your numbers and follow up once or twice.
Uncle Denny
Uncle Denny, the league's parody fixer, now and then offers you an under-the-table deal in the preseason or regular season: rest one star, two, or your whole bench for one game, for a little PP up front and a bigger bag if you lose. Taking it changes only that game's lineup. Change it back before tip-off and you keep the up-front PP, get no bag, and he holds a grudge for a while. The league office investigates these games, win or lose. If you're caught you give back the bag plus a fine, and the ruling goes to everyone. He only says how hot things are in words.
Help and the commissioner
Stuck? The ? next to a message box sends your note, the screen you're on and the recent conversation to the site's support team, and a banner shows when someone replies. To keep the league friendly the commissioner can read league conversations, including DMs and your staff room, and can step into a thread as ★ Commissioner.
